The Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation (VCSF) was
established in 1986 by a group of volunteers comprised of parents
and other community members to solicit and coordinate financial
support from the community for Vashon Island School District
graduating seniors who wished to continue their education and
training. Since then, VCSF has distributed more than $2.0 million in
scholarships. VCSF continues today as an all volunteer organization

VCSF is a Non-Profit 501(C)(3) organization and all donations are tax
deductible. Donations are solicited from a variety of community

Donations may be designated for the VCSF Endowment Fund, the
interest from which provides scholarships.

Legally established, non-profit, tax-exempt organizations and
memorial donors may directly select a recipient by reviewing the
scholarship application notebooks.

Gifts to VCSF through estate planning ensure ongoing education in
our community for generations to come and can have distinct tax
advantages for the donor.
